Here's what the humans have to say about me:
10/3/2017: KNIGHT HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Knight and his (3) siblings came into rescue as the last of a large litter that their former owner could not place. The pups are approx 4-5 months old and are adorable. They will be medium to large dogs when full grown. The pups were a bit shy and nervous when first arriving at the rescue but this is normal since most dogs need time to adjust, especially when coming to a place where there are numerous other dogs. They have since settled in and are very friendly and want attention. Knight is the most outgoing male and was the second in the litter to venture out for some love. He is sweet and loving but will also be a great protector. Knight will be neutered on 5/31/2017and will be ready to join his new family anytime after that date. The pups will make great family companions and would love a large yard to play in and some kids and other dogs would be great too. Cats will probably be fine since these are puppies..simply introduce them immediately and set the ground rules early on. The pups will benefit from training as they have not had any that we are aware of and are new additions here so they have not really had much of an opportunity to learn much here yet. They have been socialized and interacted with by their former owner so there should not be any fear issues, other than the normal insecurity of going into a new place-which is cured by a few days to a week of patience and earning trust/respect. Again, since these are puppies, there should be a fairly easy transition into a new routine and easy acceptance of their new lifestyle, whatever that may be. If interested in adopting one of the siblings, please email your interest and adoption application or call us at (352)493-1255 for more information. The pup's adoption fees will be $150 each and will help to cover the cost of vetting and daily care while with us.
