Jules B Story...
Please contact Vickie (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information about this pet.
Jules is quite the loving and playful clown - a medium sized playful girl that is a mix of Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier/Chow Chow and mixed breeds within the groups of Sporting, Asian, Terrier and Hound.
Jules is just around 6 months old and the first thing you notice about this happy girl is her love of water, whether it's her water bowl or her baby pool, she is going to play in water! She also tosses toys into her pool and then retrieves them. Lucky that Jules has short light brown fur that dries quickly :) Jules’s pretty eyes will just melt your heart, always has a grin on her face and seems to just love life! Jules is also great with other dogs, kids and people!
Jules was rescued from a high kill shelter in AL by a volunteer (Rose) who traveled down from PA to learn about the true plight of Southern dogs. Jules was taken into the high kill shelter as a stray and on her eighth day at the shelter when Crossing Paths Animal Rescue entered the building. Given the very nature of general shelter policies in parts of central Alabama, Jules was already living on borrowed time. Our volunteer was quickly drawn to the sweet, charming and happy personality of Jules and just had to save her, she could not leave such a loving and precious baby behind – Jules’s absolute sweetness captured her heart and her attention! Since removal from the shelter into foster care, more light has returned to Jules eyes and her spirit as a loving and fun-loving dog have shown through even more brightly – seemingly appreciative of a new day, a new life, a new opportunity to find love and a forever home.
Jules is so comical to watch as she playfully interacts with her kennel neighbors or simply cuddles up with a blanket or toy. JULES LOVES WATER! Watching Jules when she is frolicking in her baby pool will offer activity for Jules and entertainment for any new family! Jules brings a smile to our fosters face everyday as she is a shining light of love – hoping to be your forever family. Jules has her snuggly side too and loves a good tummy rub, kisses and hugs. If this girl sounds like the perfect dog to you - then apply quickly for once this treasure of a loving dog is discovered - she will be everyone’s choice! Jules having access to a baby pool would be a gift for her - she was born to be a water dog! RW Posted 6/18/2017
Rose has donated the MARS 3.0 DNA Test for which the full report is available at no-cost to the successful adopter!
Jules has tested negative for heart worms and is on prevention meds. Jules is up to date on all her shots and is ready for her forever home.
