IDGSR WELCOMES EVIE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
Evie is a German Shepherd mix who is approx. 2 yrs. old. She was brought to a local shelter with 11 newborn puppies. All of the puppies have been adopted and now it is Evie's turn to find a home. She gets along with other dogs but NO CATS for this girl. Evie is in a foster home now and here is what her foster mom has to say about her:
"Evie is very playful and learns really quickly. We are working on the separation anxiety as well as leash manners and she is improving on both. She sits for treats and food without needing to be told anymore. She knows the sooner she sits, the sooner she'll get her treat/food! She's so loving and affectionate and wants to please. She'll make a great cuddlebug for someone."

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
