Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Breed: Some sort of dwarf mix
Size: About 4 pounds, so small size male
DOB: Approximately 4 years old so mid 2013
Reason in Rescue: This boy was adopted out numerous times through a local shelter. He kept getting returned for crazy reasons. One said he wasn't litter trained (which he is), one didn't want to deal with him when he went into stasis and almost died, one starved him so he went down to literally half his body weight (!!), and the last one had "allergies." This poor boy had a raw deal. He's been bounced back and forth and was getting weary of it. So he came to us so we can find him a real home that isn't going to dump him off when they get tired of him :(
Personality: Harvey is such a sweetheart. As he's gotten returned, each time he has grown more and more depressed. He just doesn't think he can trust another human. He likes to snuggle, loves to be petted, and doesn't mind being held. He just needs to be able to learn to trust again. He does use his litter box!
Special Needs: Harvey used to have recurrent runny eyes, but he has not had that problem for the last two months, being in a clean environment and being kept in good health! He has gone into stasis in the past but we've seen no signs of that as long as you keep him on a good quality food.
Friends: Harvey is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter and microchip.
