Pongo's Story...
Sweet and handsome Pongo was born to a feral mamma with his 3 siblings. Mamma was brought into the Humane Society to be trapped to be spayed and released back to her feral colony. She went into labor while she was in her trap. St. Francis was contacted and I took mamma (Cruella) home so she could have and raise her babies in safety. Cruella will be fixed and released back to a safe place (barn/colony). She's a wonderful mamma but will not be a good house cat. Pongo looks just like his mamma. He is a handsome white and brown tabby with lots of energy and love to share. He loves to play and cuddle in for a nap. Like all young kittens he is very active and will do best with one of his siblings or with a family that has another young fur baby he can play with. He is such a sweet and loving boy with lots of energy! Please consider giving Pongo a forever home! If you have any questions about Pongo or any of his siblings, please email me! (

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pongo, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
