Pinky's Story...
Hi, I'm Pinky! I was lucky enough to be found with my 7 siblings hiding in a drainage ditch where someone dumped us (see last pic). My foster mom has given us all lots of love and attention and taught us that humans are nice and we don't need to be scared of them. I was really shy at first and would huddle in the very back of the dog house under all my brothers and sister. Now I smile at mom and like for her to give me rubs behind the ears and kisses. I'm learning to walk on a leash, but I'm still am a little scared about life outside my home. I had a rough start in life and will love anyone that takes care of me. Please let me be your sweet girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinky, a Hagerstown Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
