** Please note: We do have an adoption pending for Dolly so we will not be accepting any more applications at this time.
This is one of our new girl’s Dolly. Watch the video below you’ll see her true personality. Dolly’s tail is constantly “thumping” & her rear-end sways from side to side whenever she makes eye contact with you – actually all you have to do is walk in the room & the tail starts thumping as a greeting! As you can see, she’s so very cute, super friendly & just adores people. Dolly is just a happy go-lucky loving little woman.
She came in from a high-kill shelter in KY thru no fault of her own. Since I foster all my rescued dogs personally in my home, I know them very well. I know what they are good at & what they are not & I'm always honest because I want to be sure to make a lifetime match. Well, let me tell you about Dolly. She perhaps a bit over 3 ½ years old, petite at only 20 lbs. (but I think she could afford to lose a few pounds which would be easily accomplished with a few short walks a few times a week) and be sure to know she LOVES to go for walks & she is great on leash. She is a perfect little love-bug & will make an amazing little companion that you can take everywhere you go.
All my rescued dogs are quarantined for 2 weeks after they arrive to be 100% sure they are perfectly healthy before they are available for adoption. Dolly has become a real favorite of my husband. He usually takes a nap when he gets home from work & he calls Dolly to come take a nap with him & she is always happy to comply! She loves to snuggle next to him or anyone who will let her. She's 100% housebroken, she goes to the door & she really doesn't enjoy being outside -- she does her business & she's back at the door to be let back in! Perhaps when she was in KY she was made to stay outside her whole life & I think she wants to be sure that’s not going to happen again – and of course it won’t.
If she sounds like the kind of girl you’ve been looking for be sure to read our adoption requirements & if you can meet or exceed them you can apply online here at our website www.lnfdogs.org
