My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi friends! I'm Zorro. I am a 6-year-old male purebred Doberman Pinscher. I weigh approximately 85 pounds. I'm sweet, friendly, and mellow. I would make the perfect companion for any family, since I get along well with everyone I meet. Human or canine, it's all the same to me! There are no strangers in my book, just friends I've yet to meet.

I arrived at the South LA pound as a stray with a terrible skin condition that caused hair loss on my rump and legs, and swollen paws. As you can see from my photos and video, my skin in those areas is crusty and flaky. Obviously, I'm not feeling my best right now. Lucky for me though, CageFree took notice of me and decided to pull me from the shelter and send me to their private veterinarian for an evaluation. I was diagnosed with non-contagious Demodectic mange and a secondary bacterial infection. I've started a course of treatment and I'm already on the mend! Once I'm healed up, I'll be one of the most handsome guys around!

Despite my skin issue, I'm an amazing dog who deserves an equally amazing forever home. I have a lot of love to give and I can't wait to start my happily ever after.
