Jerry's Story...
Jerry is about 10 weeks old and weighs about 8 pounds and is FULL of energy! This is a dog that will LOVE to run and romp, wrestle and play....with you, your kids or other dogs! This little guy will definitely make you smile. Jerry will do great in any family but is in the puppy stage so could be a bit rough for toddlers. Jerry is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry, a Staunton Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
