Dutch's Story...
These three boys (Deuce, Domino and Dutch) were the product of an ‘accidental breeding’ and were born in August in UT…..their mom is a red and white BC, and the dad is allegedly the next door neighbor’s black and white BC, but these are some big pups for their age. Dutch is the biggest, and weighed 15 lbs when he visited the vet at just 9 weeks old! Sooooo, we think there may be something besides BC in these boys. They’ve had their first puppy vaccs and have been dewormed. Their foster mom reports that they’re all typical BCs, very quick to learn, and potty training is going well. They’re also learning about crate training and that squeaky toys are so much fun!

We’ll post more info on these boys as we get to learn their individual personalities; they are fostered in a loving foster home in Laramie, WY.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutch, a Glenrock Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Glenrock, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Glenrock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenrock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenrock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenrock paves the way for another one to be saved.
