Goldie's Story...
Our dogs are fostered in VA and NC until they are adopted. We can transport to any of our Northeastern locations once adopted. You can get more information on us and our location by reading our main website at

Goldie is around 7 years old according to our vet. She weighs about 12 pounds and has scruffy long wire hair(we have her groomed close). So she is no or low shed. We did not get any information on her when she was rescued from a pretty bad neglect situation. I can tell you what I know about her due to the time I and her foster Mommy has spent with her. Goldie is pretty quiet and laid back. She is just a little bit shy until she gets to know you. She likes to snuggle and sleep in her human's bed. She would feel more comfortable in a home with another laid back dog. She is good with cats. She is most the way potty trained but you have to be quick with catching her signal. You get one chance and that is it lol. She will use pee pads in case ypu can not let her out fast enough.

She will go to her new home current on all shots, deworming, on heartworm and flea prevention and micro-chipped. The vet thinks she has been spayed but we have no way of knowing for absolute sure without having her prior history.

We require a pre screen application to apply. You can get that on the main website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Burlington Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
