Halen's Story...
This adorable little 8 week old black and white tuxedo boy is Halen. He is a little shy when meeting new people, but he is lovable, playful, and everything you want in a sweet little baby. He is a snuggler and doesn't mind being held. He has many siblings that he loves if interested in adopting two. Halen is neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, dewormed, and current on flea/tick prevention. We are currently accepting applications. Please email us at for an application. All interested adopters must sign a contract that cats will remain indoor members of the family only, must not be declawed, will be cared for through old age and illness, and understand that pet ownership is a big responsibility and meant for the life of the pet, which could be up to 20 years. All cats are currently in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Halen, a Waldorf Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
