This adorable little 8 week old gray short haired boy is Dusty. He has many siblings that he loves if interested in adopting two. Dusty is neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, dewormed, and current on flea/tick prevention. We are currently accepting applications. Please email us at for an application. All interested adopters must sign a contract that cats will remain indoor members of the family only, must not be declawed, will be cared for through old age and illness, and understand that pet ownership is a big responsibility and meant for the life of the pet, which could be up to 20 years. All cats are currently in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Thank you!

About Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescue Angels' mission is to change the lives of animals in need by rescuing them from undesirable situations, providing loving homes, and any needed medical care (including mandatory spay and neuter). We also have in place a successful TNR (trap-neuter-return) program to limit the population and euthanasia of unwanted animals. We strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a foster-based Rescue organization, so all pets are in a loving, comfortable foster home. We also participate in regular monthly adoption events at PetSmart and Petco in Waldorf, MD. Please check our website at and our Facebook page for information.

Our Adoption Process...

Our pet adoption process is thorough and friendly, to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship. The adoption process begins when you complete and adoption application to further your interest in our dogs/cats. Once approved for adoption, we will help you coordinate a visit to the foster home at which the pet you're interested in lives. Your whole family should help decide which animal is best suited for your home and lifestyle. Please remember that this decision should be handled lightly and we expect you to care for your pet throughout it's lifetime. Our volunteers are always on hand to help you choose a pet that is right for you.
