Jetta is a 1 year old, Husky/Black Lab mix weighing about 55 lbs. She is young and energetic and although she may look more like a Lab, her temperament is more like the Husky breed. She is not a lazy couch potato and loves the company and entertainment of another playful dog. She loves people, but is a sensitive dog and takes her time checking out new people and including them in her circle. Once she is comfortable, Jetta is totally committed and very affectionate with her people. When she is left alone in the house she is not destructive but does cry and anxiously wait for her people to return. She has the typical sad howl of a Husky when she is lonely, however she is comforted by other dogs in the home for companionship. Jetta is enthusiastic and jumps when excited, for this reason very small children would not be best for her at this time. With continued training, she will be fine as she is completely friendly and would make a great companion for children. Jetta is such a charming and endearing dog, she will be the light of someone’s life. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.
