Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Kermit and I am a 13 month old, male beagle from North Carolina that needs to find a new home. My previous owner is not well and was unable to take care of me anymore so she contacted a PABR foster friend and asked for some assistance. I was lucky that PABR said YES! I went to my foster home on May 13 and got along well with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes! I like to play and have a lot of energy, so it would be best for me to find an active home with another young dog that also likes to have fun. My foster mom said that I was ‘fearless’ because I had lots of fun playing with her biggest dog for chase & tug games. Even though I played rough with my foster sibling, I still had respect for the senior dogs that didn’t want to play that way. I love to chew, so it would be good for me to have access to plenty of toys and bones to satisfy that craving.
I am a cute little guy, only weighing about 18 lbs. I am neutered and up-to-date with my vaccinations. I am house trained and crate trained as well! I didn’t receive any extra training, exercise, or discipline in my previous home, but my foster mom worked with me and made progress during the 2 weeks that I was with her. I like to go for walks and will pull less if a harness is used. I now sit for my dinner AND my treats! I have calmed down a lot, thanks to my foster mom, and do not have any anxiety! I will continue to make progress in my new home and hope that you will love me forever and take the time to teach me new things every day!
I arrived in NJ on June 3 and will be at Petsmart to meet everyone on June 10 from 11-3 pm! I have been such a good boy in Rescue all week! I just KNOW that I will find my new home soon! If you are interested in adding me to your family, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels.
