Nutmeg's Story...
I am a very, very sweet 7-8 month old Bloodhound puppy. I love to play and run with my foster Bloodhound brothers. I am house broken and still trying to figure out the doggie door. I am a little timid around adult males- I will hide at first. I love to snuggle and give big kisses to my foster Mom. I get along with all by brothers and sisters, and it is very important that I have a playmate at my new home for no other reason than I love to play!!! I like toys and balls. I would be great with any aged children. I weigh about 56 lbs and I am still a little skinny.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nutmeg, a Phoenix Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
