Rags's Story...
Rags is in an animal control shelter and is in URGENT need of help. He is a very quiet, well mannered fellow of about 1 year of age. He is a steady dog. He gets along with dogs really well. Cats are an unknown. He is great with people. Rags found his way from the street into an animal control shelter and no one ever came into the shelter to take him home. He is urgent need of help---either adoption or foster or another rescue---because animals are sometimes killed at the animal control shelter because space is so short. This guy Rags is a really nice dog. PLEASE call 724-439-8620 if you can help him or email us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rags, a Mt. Lebanon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Mt. Lebanon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Mt. Lebanon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Lebanon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Lebanon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Lebanon paves the way for another one to be saved.
