Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Betty is a quiet and gentle great Pyrenees. She is 2-3 years old and weighs in around 80-90 lbs. Betty is a self proclaimed house dog. When it is warm out she goes outside long enough to do her business but she is right back inside as soon as she can be. Luckily, Betty has pretty good indoor manners. She knows not to get on furniture and she will sleep right outside your bedroom door to make sure you don't have any unwanted visitors in the night. She is potty trained and will stay in a crate. She did have some minor separation anxiety when she first arrived in her foster home and needed to be crated when her person was away. This may not be a long term issue for her, she may do fine left out of a crate once she is comfortable in a new home.
Betty adores all people and just wants to lean on you for pets. She will need somewhat regular grooming to keep from becoming matted. Betty walks well on a leash but will need a harness or martingale collar for walks, she does know how to slip out of her regular collar. Betty does just fine with cats and likes other dogs after a little bit of transition time. Other big dogs make her nervous at first. Betty would probably do just great in a home with kids.
