My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdie folks. I came here all the way from the great state of Tennessee and my name is Annie. Not to be confused with Annie Oakley or any other Annie...I am the one and only just Annie.

Well my story goes like this. I lived here and was sold there and ended up over here. The end. Pretty short and to the point.
Since I have been here I kind of like Michigan and I especially like the foster home I am in. I have 1 alpha here. That would be Maddy, she's the boss. The 2 foster brothers named Shadow and Baxter, they're great to me. I got a bath when I got here and had to go and see the doctor. I got a clean bill of health.
There is a big fenced in back yard here and all of us run and play until we get tired. Then my foster mom takes us inside and puts on Kenny G and we all take a great nap together. What a sweet life.

Annie is a very obedient girl and learns extremely fast. She loves going for her walks with her pals, loves to play but has an off switch to relax too.
In her own way, Annie has indicated that she may have experienced negative behavior from human males. The foster moms are introducing Annie to human males and Annie is responding in a positive manner back accepting male companionship more and more. Of course, a little treat when introduced always helps things go smooooth as silk.

Annie is also being introduced to swimming in a lake. Her foster mom took Annie out for just a few minutes to see what Annie thought about water. Annie was a little hesitant at first but knew she was safe because the foster mom was holding on to her. When Annie got back into the yard she ran and ran and ran and indicated she wanted more! A little at a time Annie.

Annie is learning basic commands such as sit, give paw, stop at the corner when walking and will sit for her meals before her bowl is placed for her.
Annie would do great in a home with another dog that is friendly and loves to play as much as Annie does. Small children are too close to the ground when carrying food around and can't give Annie, a puppy herself, a command she would obey. Teens are a better match for Annie.
Annie will need a completely fenced yard because she is still a young lady learning all the time.

Annie is an 9 month old Vizsla/Redbone mix, 41 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, spayed, housebroken and micro chipped.
