Kara's Story...
What a sweet girl! Kara is a 3 month old kitten that's hoping to find her furever home! She came in from a rough situation and can be just a little shy at first but it takes no time at all for her to realize you're her friend. She is very much a kitten with a whole bunch of kitten personality! Her favorite thing is playtime and there's few things that make her happier than having someone that can match her energy levels! Kara is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be fixed once she's adopted. She does great with other kitties and is young enough to get used to a dog too. If you're looking for a precious new girl to add to your family, Kara is the one for you! She's available at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, open daily from 12-6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kara, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
