My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ryker is a great dog who just broke his owner's heart, all due to his territorial behavior within his yard. He's 5 years old, housebroken, good with kids, command-trained, and he bonds well with his family. The woman said he spent the entire car ride here with his head on her shoulder. Ryker is just "overly" protective of his property, and she believed he would continue to break the fence between her property and the one next door in order to attack the neighbor's dogs. The appropriate home for him will probably have to be with an adopter not surrounded by other dogs, and/or with a concrete block wall and wrought-iron gate. Since he would be reactive to other dogs when on leash as well, he'll either need to be muzzled off-property, or owned by a strong alpha man and/or woman whom he respects so thoroughly that he won't dare to disobey their commands to ignore other dogs encountered when out and about. He's a worthy guy, and we know that ideal home it out there, just waiting for him.
