Bigotes's Story...
BIGOTES

Bigotes is going to be the "next star" in someone's lucky household! His name means mustache in Spanish. Bigotes is a 1 year old, 32 pound Terrier Mix who is incredibly sweet and humble about his rags to riches story. He had been living on the streets of Juarez, Mexico before he was rescued and brought to Albuquerque through the efforts of many dedicated people. Since arriving at his foster mom's home, Bigotes has settled right into the good life and her pack. Bigotes adds an amazingly wonderful energy wherever he goes! If you would like to make Bigotes part of your family, please submit an online adoption application at www.lapdogrescue.org, found under FORMS, and be sure to include his name at the top.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bigotes, a Tijeras Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
