Joey!!


Meet Joey!
Joey is 3 year old long-haired Chihuahua mix and weighs in around 4-5 pounds! Poor Joey was so afraid at the shelter that we had to go in the pen and sit with him because he just hid in the corner! Once his foster mom got him home, he followed her everywhere sticking as close to her as he could get! He loves women and children but he is very cautious of men. He will warm up to them once he knows he is not going to be hurt.
He loves to give kisses and be kissed in return! He does good with other female dogs and male dogs that are not aggressive toward him.  He loves to snuggle in bed next to his foster mom! Because of his size, we prefer he go to a home without smaller children. Even though he loves children, sometimes they do not realize how easily they can be hurt! If you're looking for new friend, Joey just may be it!
