Skye Blue's Story...
Meet Skye Blue! Her and her brother, Sammy Ridge (who already has a family waiting for him) were born on Earth Day! She will be ready for adoption on 6/24.

She is the sweetest, most chubbiest little puppy! She is a pure mutt - her mom looks to be a Lab/Golden/Hound mix and we don't know who her papa is.

Adoption fee $500 - includes health exam, up to date vaccines, multiple dewormings, microchip, spay voucher to be used when she turns 6 months of age, and 30 days of free pet health insurance.

Application can be found on our website www.RDRanimalrescue.org!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye Blue, a Franklinville Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Franklinville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Franklinville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklinville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklinville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklinville paves the way for another one to be saved.
