Louie is a magnificent 9-month old male Hound mix who was surrendered by his family on May 8, 2017 because they were no longer able to take care of him. Louie's brothers (Lenny and Leo) and his sister (Lola) were also surrendered to the HSOV on the same day.
Louie has a tricolor (black/tan/white) short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful Hound face with expressive brown eyes and large floppy ears. This big boy is a pushover for attention and loves to spend time in our play yards with his siblings when our kennel techs and volunteers accompany them for out-of-kennel time. Louie and his siblings are like 'poetry in motion' as they play ball and enjoy stretching their legs doing laps around the yard :)
Louie is the largest of his siblings and weighed 56.2 lbs. the day he arrived. He will most likely be a large boy when he reaches maturity. Louie will be neutered before being adopted and leaving our shelter with his new family.
Louie and his brother (Leo) are the closest siblings in size as well as being best friends. These two boys have not been separated since they were young puppies and have shared a kennel since coming to HSOV on May 8th. We'd love to see them find a home together.
