Facts about Betsy

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Betsy is a Lab/Shepherd mix, weighing 44 pounds and she is around 2.5 years of age. She is a high energy girl so needs a family who enjoys long walks and exploring the great outdoors. Betsy would do best in a home where she has plenty of space to run and play with her toys. She loves her people and is almost puppy like with her high energy and playfulness. Betsy is sociable with other dogs but can be a bit selective when making friends. She is not good with cats, however. We think Betsy would be a great companion animal for a family with older children. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Betsy has been spayed, dewormed and vaccinated. She is now ready for adoption in the Vancouver/Victoria, BC area. If your active family is looking for the perfect pet, contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

About PVCA Vancouver British Columbia

About Our Rescue Group...

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!

Our Adoption Process...

We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $250USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.
