Kepler's Story...
Meet Kepler, an awesome dog looking for a responsible, loving and permanent home. Kepler is a high energy guy who needs a home that can provide plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He would love and active home with herding breed experience. Kepler can live with older, respectful children as he tends to be to protective of small children. He can live with another dog but will have to meet any potential house mates to ensure they would be a good match. Kepler may be able to live with a confident cat that can stand its ground. Kepler can be anxious if not given the proper amount of exercise. He loves chasing after the ball but may not give it back to you. He would really enjoy a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time. Kepler would make a great running/hiking companion. If you are interested in meeting Kepler, please fill out an application at the front desk.

Kepler, a Bellingham Border Collie/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Blue Heeler for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Border Collie/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Border Collie/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
