Snickers's Info...

I am up to date with shots and not good with cats.

Snickers's Story...
Snickers is a 7 month old shepherd mix. She's lively and friendly....very much a puppy still. She's currently about 50 lbs. She's quite polite with people but likes to play rough with other dogs. (Best suited to a home without smaller dogs or cats). Her HALO foster home is in Brentwood. You can meet her there by appointment. We will be taking applications for her adoption but she will be staying with HALO until she is spayed on September 2nd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Antioch German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Antioch, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Antioch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Antioch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Antioch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Antioch paves the way for another one to be saved.
