Sheba's Story...
My life story: Hi my name is Sheeba. I was born in June 2003. I am a mix breed ( Border collie, Keeshond, German Shepard). I love kids ( we can play ball - I like to keep it away as they try to take it) I like to play tug-a-war too. I have a rope with big knots at each end and while they hold it I will do what I can to take it away and then keep it away. I like to run and I was starting to learn how to catch things that are thrown up in the air. My last owner taught me how to shake hands with either paw and how to do a hi-five & double hi-five ( If you put your hand up, like your waving hi to someone and say hi-five I will put my paw into the palm of your hand and if you say double hi-five I will put both paws into your palm). I love to ride in cars and know that I should not get in to the front seat without you saying its o.k. I travel well. I also like to go for walks. I am fed dry food twice a day and some times human snacks ( I love to eat pretzels and peanuts). My last owner would buy me doggy snacks and raw hide chewy or bones ( I love those) she would let me have some other human food once in a while. I have lived with two other dogs for the last two years and I would share my bones with them. I do have a bad habit of chasing cats to play with them, but they dont want to play. I am looking for a home and family to protect, I will be a good friend to you. SECURE FENCING REQUIRED

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Antioch Keeshond/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Keeshond/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Antioch, or seeking a Keeshond/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Antioch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Antioch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Antioch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Keeshond/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Keeshond/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Antioch paves the way for another one to be saved.
