Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bootsie is quite possibly the most gracious, forgiving, joyous dog you will ever meet! She even has a heart-shaped marking on her forehead to prove how loving she is! She has a sad story to tell...but she has looked past it & ready for the next chapter in her life. Bootsie was shot at close range, found in a ditch in critical condition with a body temp of 94 degrees. Her xrays are heart wrenching. They show her to be full of buckshot. But she clearly hasn't let that damper her spirit as she is now recovered & absolutely LOVES everyone she meets. She is just happy, happy, happy! Bootsie does fabulous in the company of other dogs & enjoys playtime with them. She is fostering in a home without cats, but we can't imagine she would be anything but sweet with them. She is ready for a forever home that will provide her with daily belly rubs, her favorite. Who will be her lucky family??
Bootsie appears to be an English-American Coonhound, weighs 40 lbs and is estimated at 2 yrs old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and tested negative for heartworm disease. Adoption fee is $250.
