Lily Belle is a sweet little Chi-Chi mix who was saved from a rural kill shelter. She is all of 5 lbs and is about 6 years old. She loves to be near her person (if you back up you have to make sure she's not behind you first!) and loves to snuggle under the covers. She's not too interested in toys. She is working on potty training and doing really well. She's not a fan of the crate, but she does well in there when her foster Mom is gone. She gets SO excited to see her return! She's fine with other pups. She'd be great as an only pup or with others.

Our Adoption Process...

Applications are screened and references checked for both veterinarian and renters. Phone interview is conducted and if a potential match we will arrange a playdate. To move forward with a potential placement we require a home visit and introduce existing pets to the new pet. If successful a 72-hour home trial is mandatory. To give the applicant possession of the pet the applicant must fill out the Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee. The contract and adoption fee is held for the 72-hour trial period. If placement is desired at the end of the trial period the organization signs and executes the contract. A copy of the contract along with medical records will then be forwarded to the adopter. 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month follow-ups are conducted.
