I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rita's Story...
Rita is an amazingly sweet dog, considering that life has not always been easy for her. Rescued off the streets of Mexico, she was covered in mange, thin and overbred. But look at her now, she’s the picture of health and happiness, ready for a loving companion or family. Rita is a small 2 year old Mastiff and Lab mix. She’s easy going, mellow, gentle and very friendly. She can be selective about her dog friends, loves kids and is an overall wonderful dog. If Rita sounds like a good ‘fit’ for you, then she’d love to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rita, a Santa Rosa Mastiff/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Labrador Retriever for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Mastiff/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Mastiff/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
