Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweetums is one of a litter of nine puppies born in her foster home after her fur mom was rescued from a shelter. Sweetums is the smallest of her litter mates, but that doesn't stop her from trying to be the boss!
Sweetums mom is a Rat Terrier, we don't know who dad is but think all the puppies will take after mom and be small (20 lbs) when full grown. At six weeks old Sweetums weighs in at 2 1/4 pounds.
As a puppy, Sweetums will go to her forever home needing to be trained for everything, potty, manners, leash walking, socializing, everything! Rat Terriers are super smart and we don't think it will take long for her to learn all she needs to know, but she will need a family willing to put in the time and effort it takes.
Sweetums is still in her foster home growing big and strong. She will be ready to go to her forever home in a few short weeks! Sweetums is accepting applications for pre-adoption today!
Her adoption fee is $ 225.00
Sweetums is heartworm negative , and will be up-to-date on shots and spayed prior to her adoption. Sweetums has a microchip that will be transferred to the new owner upon completion of the adoption.
If you have questions about Sweetums, please contact her foster mom at fostermomcarpenter@gmail.com.
If you would like to meet Sweetums to find out if she is the right fit for your home, please print and complete an application, then scan and return it to us at Adotions@pethoodga.org. It will be reviewed and when approved, the foster will contact you. The application is located here:
