My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our family underwent some big changes this year! Sad to say, since then, we have not been able to give our sweet, energetic Piper the attention she both desperately craves and deserves. We are hoping to find a loving family that can fulfill these needs for her.

Piper is 2 years old, approx. 45lb and a mix between a border collie and german short haired pointer. We rescued her from a ranch back in 2015. She has been raised indoors around our 6lb malti-poo and our 60lb australian shepherd mix, so she knows how to play wonderfully with any size dog. I think she would be a perfect fit for a family with older children and/or other dog(s). She is as loyal as they come, loves to run and "hunt" in the backyard, take walks, cuddle and EAT (dog food that is, we don't give her table scraps)! She is both crate and potty trained (we can send her crate along with her) and is up to date on her vaccinations for the year.
