Meet Stewie! He is a silly animated, 3 year old 9 -pound, neutered male Pug. My adoption fee is $695. I like all people and should be placed in a home that is active, and includes me as part of the family. Stewie has black fur and beautiful brown eyes to melt your heart. We are seeking a Pug experienced home. Stewie is not around cats, so we are unsure about cats, kids over 12 are ok. Stewie loves attention and humans, and gets along well with other dogs. Stewie would benefit from a positive obedience training class to master recall, and basic commands, as well as bonding with his new people. Stewie walks well on a leash and loves outings. Stewie is always up for a outing, or car ride. Stewie is a super sweet guy, and is a fast learner. He is food motivated. Stewie is seeking a interactive, stable, routine home that will engage in play and daily walks. Stewie is a very active and full of happy energy. He love's to play and run with other dogs, and toys.
I will require a grain-free diet to keep me healthy and my coat beautiful. His coat is short and sleak, and easy to maintain. I will require nail trims and anal glands to be done by a professional groomer.
Stewie is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a life long commitment before applying. Ideally, Stewie should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours (he is learning about potty training) Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Due to my size, I cannot go to a home with children under the age of 10 years old; I will also require a fully fenced yard so that I do not run away. I am curious, and this is all new to me. Fences help protect me and establish boundaries. The only exception will be in I am adopted by a family in a condo or apartment. Applications accepted online at The adoption fee is $695. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt.

I am fostered in West Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval.

The 695.00 adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Stewie", a Seattle Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
