Meet Little Miss Missy a 6 lb little fire cracker.  Missy is definitely a woman's dog and she is protective of her person.  While she is good with other dogs she would prefer a home where she is the princess who as all the attention showered upon her.  She is only 3 years old but has definitely earned her 'diva' stripes.  As her forever mom (women preferred by a long shot) you are at her beck and call.  She wants to be with you all the time.  Once you two have bonded Missy will be by your side or in your lap whenever time permits.  She does need a fenced in yard (small is fine) but she needs access to the outside as she loves to relax in the sunshine.  Out on a leash or tie-out is not the life for her.  She is too young and too full of energy.  Missy's perfect mom would be in her 50's or 60's, home most of the time but still very active.  Spins around the block are important as Missy is still young so get your walking shoes out.  Missy is spayed, current on all her shots, microchipped and on monthly preventative.  If you think you qualify as her forever mom please send a message to Missy via Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615/943-7311.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.

About Critter Companion Rescue- VA

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
