Chico is a wonderful 3 year old 8 lb little man who is full of energy.  He is having a huge time in his foster home with his buddy Joey.  Joey is not exactly on the same page.  They both love to run and play and wrestle.  BUT Chico has learned how to box.  A few quick taps to Joey's head and Joey is over it while his foster mom is laughing.  Little Chico is definitely the entertainer.  To be fair he is 3 years old and Joey is 10. Maybe Chico has an unfair advantage!  They all do get along remarkably well.  Chico would do better in a home though with younger dogs--someone who can match his energy level.  While he is energetic, he is not all out all the time.  He is quite calm and loves to bundle himself under the covers and snooze.  He really is the perfect mix of young and active and older and quiet.  Go figure!!  At only 8 lbs he would be better in a home without small children.  Teenagers or an all adult home would be great.  Having another small buddy is key though.  So if you have another little one that needs a companion then please consider Chico.  He is neutered, current on all his shots, microchipped and on monthly preventative.  To learn more about Chico please contact Vivienne at or 615/943-7311.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.

About Critter Companion Rescue- MD

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
