Manny's Story...
Hold onto your heart, because this handsome devil will steal it in seconds. Happiest right by your side or cuddling up tight on the couch with his head on your shoulder, Manny is ready to be your forever love. Goofy and playful as a young pup should be, he’s also proven eager to please and fast to learn the house rules. He figured out stairs in a flash, is easy going with his foster family’s cats and dogs, and will always tell you how he’s feeling (hello, roos!). He’s ready to be someone’s very very good boy. Could that someone be you?

Royal Hounds policy is to reserve cat-trainable dogs for homes that truly require them. If you have no small animals, you will need to adopt a dog that is not deemed small-animal trainable. A fenced yard is required to adopt Manny.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manny, a Seattle Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
