Dude (ETAA)'s Story...
Dude is a 3-4 year old chihuahua mix. He is extremely loyal and loves to be with his family. H is active and playful and gets along great with all people of all ages, although he can be a little timid when small children reach to grab him and pick him up. He does well with dogs and cats. He does have a flea allergy and has had some hair loss due to previous ownership. Won't you open up your home to this handsome fellow??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dude (ETAA), a Foster Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Foster, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
