Diamond's Story...
Despite being abandoned by her "family" who left her tied to a fence, Diamond is a very happy girl! She's always smiling and ready to greet the day. She has the most adorable black spot on the top of her head and her big ears are absolutely heart melting. She loves to go for walks and was on her best behavior at the vet. She was trying to make friends with every dog in the waiting room! Diamond is good with older kids but she still has that puppy jumping habit so maybe no small kids for now. Diamond is currently at a boarding facility in northern RI and would love a foster home to stay in until she finds her furrever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond, a Glocester Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Glocester, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Glocester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glocester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glocester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glocester paves the way for another one to be saved.
