Beau's Story...
Hi! I'd like to meet YOU. I need you to help me pick out a perfect name but my foster mom has been calling me Beau. Let me tell you about myself. I am about 3 months old. They tell me that I am a Labrador and Newfoundland mix. I don't really know what that means but my foster mom says, "you're going to be a big boy". I do like sleeping in my crate and playing with my two big foster brothers. My foster mom helps me to go outside and she tells me that I'm a really good boy, so I think I'm doing something right when I'm out there. I'm just not completely sure just yet what it is. She also tells me to sit down before I get my treat and I love doing that. I really want to find my own family that has a yard for me to explore and to help me learn new things. If you think you'd like to meet me, contact call my foster mom, Susan at turner9115@sbcglobal.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a Overland Park Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
