Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Cotton is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with the Marin Humane Society in Novato, CA.
Cotton
15 year old, M, Blue Point Siamese
My heart always aches when our organization receives a request to help find a home for an older kitty. Most people want young cats or kittens, but with an older kitty whose personality is described as very sweet, you know exactly what you’ll get. As an adopter of a senior Siamese kitty, I can attest that no matter how long or how short of a life we can offer one of these special creatures, every minute we get to spend with them is a blessing to be treasured.
Why anyone would drop off a senior kitty at a shelter is beyond me, but let’s not be judgmental, and just hope that a very kind human will find it in his/her heart to rush over to the Marin Humane Society to pick up this sweet boy and to offer him a permanent home where he can spend the rest of his days in comfort and harmony with his new human parent(s).
Meet Cotton–a very healthy and handsome blue-eyed senior with lots of stories to tell. You see, Cotton has been around for a while, so he knows a thing or two about loving humans, young and old, and about playing his cards right, so life is delectable and predictable! He has a mature, Yoda-like demeanor and enjoys pets and body rubs. Cotton’s previous guardian describes him as a “very, very sweet cat.” Adopting an older cat is an honor, but we think you’re worthy of the task.
In his previous home, Cotton lived with adults of all ages and children ages 10-15. Cotton is comfortable with being held and being carried around, and he enjoys to be petted. He had general blood work was done and his lab work was essentially normal. He also had a dental cleaning done about one year ago.
Please note that Cotton is not with Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue. We are courtesy posting him for the Marin Humane Society in Novato, CA.
