My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Female Dutch/Lionhead
Size: About 4-5 pounds
DOB: Approximately 1 year old
-When we first heard about Hope, she was in a feed store being sold as an "Easter bunny." Literally hours prior, she had given birth to 8 baby bunnies in the feed store :( They didn't know what to do and didn't think she was feeding them. They were scattered all over her cage because she was so stressed out and they didn't know what they were doing. Luckily a kind hearted person contacted us and then fostered them all for us until they were able to travel. The babies were born 4/3 and are ready to be weaned, so momma can be spayed and be available for adoption (babies will be available when they are a little bit older). Hope is a little skittish understandably as she hasn't had much reason to trust humans prior to coming to us. She settles in and likes to be petted once she knows you and is used to you. She does not like being picked up and prefers to have all four feet on the floor. She's a beautiful girl and her faded coat is coming in all bright and shiny now :) She can be adopted out as a single, as a buddy for an existing neutered male in your house, or as a pair with one of her daughters. She is being spayed on 6/19 and will be ready for adoption after that. Adoption fee is $60 for her as a single or $75 in a pair with one of her daughters. If interested, an adoption application can be filled out here: http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html
