Facts about Mr. Jones

  • Breed: Alaskan Malamute Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Mr. Jones lived an isolated and terrifying life. He was surviving as a stray around the Jones Stadium area for almost a year before being caught. Human interaction was a foreign concept to Jones and he spent much of his initial time with us in fear of people and new things. Mr. Jones has blossomed. He loves obedience, motivated by cheese and hot dogs. He still needs encouragement to feel confident, but is becoming more bold by the day. Jones is super vocal and we love when he bosses us with his goofy mouth. He has a gentle spirit and kind disposition. Jones adores other dogs. He still has some growth ahead, but is more then ready to be part of a family.

About Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We were founded by a trio of friends with a shared passion for animal welfare and rescue. Saving Grace aims to alleviate suffering through rescue and adoption into reliable, stable, loving forever homes. We assist the city (Lubbock) shelter with Pit Bulls as resources allow. We also help pure breed dogs from the local shelter by serving as a "holding" shelter and networking with pure breed rescues for these dogs. Being an integral part of the community through mutual goals, giving back, and education is a priority for Saving Grace.

Come Meet Our Pets...

An appointment to meet any one of our adoptable rescues can be arranged by contacting us at info@savinggracepitbullrescue.org. We are not an open door shelter and have varied operating hours. Check out our website for the latest community and adoption events!

Our Adoption Process...

An application is required for all adoptions. We will also complete a home check just to ensure the dog and family are a good fit. Crating (at least to start) is preferred. All of our dogs will be up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
