Teri Garr*Adopted's Story...

Adoption Donation: $225.00

Little Teri is a 6yr old, 10lb little cutie!  She is house trained and loves to follow you around. Her mix is a mystery, but we think she is beautiful Maltese mixed with beautiful Bichon!!

This baby had two mammary tumors when she came to us, but they were successfully removed and her follow up x-rays now show no trace of cancer at this time.  Her surgery was a great success and was worth every penny to save this beauty.

You'll never be alone again with this loving baby at your feet or in your lap and curled up close to you at night.  She just adores people and loves everyone she meets.

Teri is not good with cats but loves other doggies.

She is currently being fostered in Largo, FL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teri Garr*Adopted, a Gainesville Maltese/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Bichon Frise for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Maltese/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Maltese/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
