Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.

Hi! My name is Simba. I spent many years of my life in a Sanctuary in TX before Lola's Lucky Day brought me into a foster home so I could get serious about finding a forever home. My estimated date of birth is 2004 so I am about 12-13 years old. But that doesn't slow me down AT ALL! I love to play with the other small dogs in my home and love to get jerky treats. I am about 8lbs and easy to carry around. I nap a lot and DO NOT BARK. My foster mom loves that about me. When she gets home from work I dance because I am so happy to see her!!! I really love my new life and am excited about finding a permanent home.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
