If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Pre-Qualification Form. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
Hi, my name is Ghost. I know that's kind of weird but I'm white and I was found in a cemetery so that's what my foster dad named me. I'm a sweet guy who is only about four years old, and I weight about 9lbs but I need to gain a couple more.
They're calling me special needs because I have had some seizures. I'm taking phenobarbital twice a day. It's pretty cheap though.
No one knows exactly what breed I am but there's definitely chihuahua. I'm a little taller than your typical chi though. I like other dogs, cats, and respectful kids. I'm a pretty calm guy who can be timid at first. I'm housebroken and I am crate trained. I don't bark much and in general I am a pretty quiet guy. I am neutered and microchipped and ready to find my forever home. Come see me!! If you are interested in learning more about me or meeting me, please submit a completed pre qualification form to ARPO.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
