Jessie Jones's Story...
Jessie Jones is a very energetic boy and loves to run around the house. He is a little baby but has the bravery of a lion; fighting the broom, the throw pillows, and all the many new things he encounters. He wants to be where the action is and will follow you around. He isn't too sure about being held and can't sit still long enough to curl up with you on the couch, but he loves a good pet and gives lots of kisses! He will play and play and play some more before finding a good spot to take a short kitten nap. This sweet boy is sure to make the purr-fect addition to any home.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie Jones, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
