Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pierre's owner was a senior who was no longer able to care for him. The son who lived out of state asked a neighbor to help turn in the dog. Pierre was very shy initially and in need of a grooming. He is more relaxed now but didn't like having his face messed with so his face has not been cut yet. Pierre now loves to be held and shown attention. We were told that Pierre has spent pretty much his whole life indoors and his feet have never even touched grass! He loves looking out the window and seeing the world outside. Now his world is going to change and he will slowly learn the sights, sounds and smells of being in as well as outdoors. Pierre's foster Mom says that he has gotten along great with her grandchildren, is very smart and that he "has been a dream" and would make a wonderful family dog. Pierre is 8 years old and about 13 pounds. Please help Pierre find the loving home he deserves.

Pierre's adoption fee is $275. This covers all age-appropriate shots and vetting.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
