GiGi's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

GiGi's Story...

GiGi is 5 years old and weighs 6.7 lbs. GiGi was hit by a car but, thanks to Vet Ranch, has healed beautifully. She has a metal plate in her leg and walks and runs a tad funny, but she jumps on the couch, runs up the stairs and keeps up with the other dogs in her foster home just fine. GiGi is perfection. She loves everyone she meets, is submissive, rolls over for belly rubs, and gets along with dogs and cats and kids. We prefer to place her with children over 10 years of age and no large breed or hyper young dogs. We are placing her with these precautions just to be 100% sure there is little to no risk of reinjury. GiGi refuses to let you sleep alone at night. She prefers to be with a human as much as possible and sleeps through the night under the covers like a good girl. She is quiet, silly, happy, and extremely loving. GiGi is 110% companion dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GiGi, a Philadelphia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
